They say there is nothing new under the sun, but I thought I'd merge two areas of interest and see whether I could make something new... 

Allow me to introduce you to the Frequency Collection!

Unlike the rest of our dye techniques, for this collection we expose our dye bath to various healing sound frequencies. Our first two collections are the 963hz and 528hz.

These frequencies are referred to as Solfeggio frequencies.

We hope that knitting with this frequency treated yarn helps you feel calmer, and more relaxed and at peace. No matter how many stitches you drop along the way! 

The Solfeggio frequencies are often associated with various healing properties.

Studies suggest that certain sound frequencies within the range of 500 to 700 Hz can have a calming effect on the nervous system, promoting relaxation and reducing stress.

Additionally, research on music therapy indicates that it can positively impact mood and stress levels.

In addition to their potential effects on human physiology, Solfeggio frequencies like 528 Hz have also intrigued researchers in the field of cymatics.
